Q. How long will it take to receive my curated list?
Not long at all.
1-2 hours after your consultation, you’ll be emailed a summary of what was discussed as well as link to purchase the service. A personalised makeup list is then delivered to your inbox within 4-5 days of receiving your questionnaire responses post purchase*.
*(3 working days if you’ve purchased the EXPRESS service).
Q. I’m thinking of going for “Wardrobe 2 or 3”, do I have to pay for the lessons right away?
No, your makeup lesson/follow up session are paid & booked separately. Along with your personalised list, an exclusive link to schedule and pay for your lesson/follow up is emailed to you.
Q. How long is the makeup lesson?
I allocate two hours for your makeup lesson/follow up in order for you to get the most out of your session without rushing. This allows you to really get the most out of your lesson without feeling pressured to rush through steps.
Q. Will I receive anything to take away from my lesson?
Absolutely! You’ll be fully supported even after our session ends.
Your makeup lesson is recorded so you can revisit the techniques in your own time.
As well as this, you’ll also receive a guided fact sheet. This includes easy to follow steps, product notes and helpful reminders so you feel confident practising and recreating your look independently.
Q. Are your makeup lessons in-person or virtual?
Ideally my makeup lessons are most effective in-person but can be adapted depending on your location and preference.
In-person lessons can take place either at my residence in South London or in your home as long as there is good natural lighting and a comfortable space to setup.
This can be discussed in more details during your consultation.
Q. How do I prepare for the makeup lesson?
To get the most out of your lesson, I recommend having your products ready before we begin whether that means purchasing them prior to your lesson or having the products out and ready to use. Your preparation can be tailored to your focus:
if we’re working on your base, have your base products ready i.e. foundation, concealer, colour corrector and powders etc
if we’re focusing on eyes, have the relevant products and tools to hand
For a full face, simply have your full makeup kit prepared.
Please ensure your face is clean, makeup free and moisturised before we begin.
Additional Preparation Tips:
Sit in a well-lit space with natural daylight where possible.
Protect surfaces with a towel to prevent makeup stains
Keep cotton buds, cotton pads makeup wipes and micellar water nearby for easy clean up.
